TOMAH, Wis. — Edith Mae (Antone) Arentz, 59, of Tomah died Jan. 8, 2007, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Tomah.

She was born July 29, 1947, to Theodore and Leah (Hill) Antone at Wyeville, Wis. She was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Desert Shield and Desert Storm, stationed in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Edith worked mainly in the food service industry.

She is survived by two sisters, Betty Antone of Tomah, and Alice Peters of Warrens, Wis.; a brother, Ralph Anton of Tomah; three nieces, Tammie Archer and Sarah Peters, both of Sparta, Wis., and Erin Peters of Bangor, Wis.; three grandnieces, Randi Archer, Sabrina Kelley and Alexandria Neuman; and three grandnephews, Cody Peters, Ethan Kelley and Isaac Antone.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick Antone, and a nephew, Jeffrey T. Antone.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St., Tomah. Pastor Edwin Stigen will officiate. Burial will be in the Wood Cemetery, with military honors by Cutriss-McNut VFW Post 1382, Tomah.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday, and from 10 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday, both at the funeral home.
